Network Connectivity Issues Due to Ongoing DDoS Attack

We are currently aware of a large-scale DDoS-related network issue affecting connectivity to some of our servers and services.

The issue appears to be affecting multiple networks and providers and is currently being attended to by the upstream network provider and mitigation teams.

Some users may experience intermittent issues accessing websites, email, cPanel/WHM, terminal services, or other hosted services during this period.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as more information becomes available.

Status updates will be posted here:

The MTN network seems to be affected more than others, so try use another network for better connectivity to the server for emails and website access.

Services are being restored in a controlled and staggered approach while DDoS mitigation work continues. Some customers may already be seeing improved reachability, while others may still experience intermittent connectivity depending on their source ISP and routing path. As part of our mitigation efforts, traffic may be rerouted through alternate paths, which can result in increased latency for some connections. Our network team is continuing to monitor traffic patterns, restore routes carefully and apply filtering where required to avoid further instability. Further updates will be provided as restoration progresses.

The network is currently stable. We are still observing slightly higher than normal latency on certain routes to Openserve, MTN and Seacom due to ongoing DDoS mitigation measures. However, connectivity remains stable and no packet loss is currently being observed on these routes. The DDoS mitigation has been effective so far and will remain active until we are confident that the attack activity has fully subsided.
